FAQ

Volunteer Questions

Do I need to speak a second language?

No — many roles don't require it. Multilingual volunteers are especially valued for interpretation roles.

What is the minimum time commitment?

Most roles ask for 2–4 hours weekly for at least one semester, though one-time event volunteers are always welcome.

Is training provided?

Yes. All volunteers complete a short orientation, and youth-facing roles include additional safety training.
