Strategic Priorities

Seven pillars of our work

Our programs and initiatives are organized around seven strategic priorities designed to strengthen organizations and empower communities.

1. Organizational Capacity Building

Supporting organizations in strengthening internal systems, governance, administration, financial management, strategic planning, program development, fundraising, communications, and evaluation.

2. Leadership Development

Supporting emerging and established leaders through training, mentorship, networking, leadership development, and opportunities for collaborative leadership.

3. Economic Empowerment & Entrepreneurship

Promoting economic opportunity through entrepreneurship initiatives, workforce development, financial literacy, business education, and connections to economic resources.

4. Youth Education & Mentorship

Equipping young people with leadership skills, educational opportunities, mentorship, civic awareness, and pathways toward future success.

5. Community Integration & Social Cohesion

Promoting meaningful relationships among refugee, immigrant, and U.S.-born communities through cultural exchange, dialogue, inclusion, and community-building activities.

6. Civic Engagement & Legal Awareness

Promoting civic participation and helping communities understand available resources, rights, responsibilities, and pathways for constructive engagement with institutions.

7. Advocacy & Strategic Partnerships

Elevating the voices of refugee and immigrant-led organizations and connecting them with nonprofit, governmental, philanthropic, academic, corporate, and community partners.
