Our Story

Founded by community, for community

In 2025, immigrants, refugees, and U.S. citizens in North Carolina came together to establish RILOC as a consortium focused not only on serving communities, but on strengthening the organizations already rooted within those communities.

RILOC operates from a consortium perspective: connect, strengthen, empower, and sustain. Our long-term goal is to help create an ecosystem in which refugee and immigrant-led organizations can access the knowledge, resources, partnerships, and opportunities necessary to become stronger and more sustainable.
